JUNE 5TH, OPENING ALEXANDRA PARIKOVA - 7pm
Ten years after discovering her, Galerie BE-ESPACE turns the spotlight once again on Franco-Czech artist Alexandra PARIKOVA. In tune with her own private and public personality, she gives a voice to flesh and faces. In 2D or 3D, she uses colour palettes, textures and volumetric perspectives to produce a striking sense of depth.

Colomina: DEEP FRENZY!
October 2013, BE-ESPACE Gallery will be in the grip of ‘Deep Frenzy’, a new exhibition of works by Spanish artist Jorge Colomina. His vibrant paintings, with their cheerful brushwork and vivid colours, play with figurative art and assert their own unique style: a style that he has been consolidating and refining for the past forty years. Geometric lines and curves echo primitive art, with mask-like or triangular faces and poses that are never static, always in motion, swept away within a uniquely creative painterly language.
Exposition TELLEMENT AU-DESSUS DE LA FRANCE
(Rising above France) Alexis Peskine’s art hits the nail on the head
At last, Alexis Peskine is back in Paris. Peskine’s « acu-painting » forcefully proclaims the diversity of his own origins, its nails hammering home his personal philosophy. Each piece is a manifesto, an appeal for an alternative society where black and white would be two sides of a single humanity providing fertile ground for rich and varied contrasts. THE BLIND : from Bruegel to Elliot-Moretto
From 1 to 31 March 2012, Galerie BE-ESPACE, directed by Brian Elliott Rowe, plays host to "The Blind", a series of paintings by Elliot-Moretto. A tribute to the celebrated Flemish painter Bruegel, Elliot-Moretto revisits the metaphor of the blind and offers a contemporary interpretation that is both painterly and philosophical. Her eye focuses on each of six figures in turn: one in each painting. Society remains central to her preoccupations, but it is approached from the point of view of individuality and the question of choosing how to follow one's own path, with or without a guide - and above all, choosing which path to follow.
Etienne GROS: THE BODY IN QUESTION
From 15 November to 17 December 2011, Galerie BE-ESPACE showcases the work of Etienne GROS for the first time on the Right Bank. The exhibition features twenty paintings reflecting the artist's obsession with the human body: a body that is above all a subject, and a body that is human before being male or female. Though perhaps rough at first sight, subtle, velvety textural effects are achieved through flamboyant use of colour. A cold wind blows from ashen greys and coal black, only to be replaced by the amber heat of glowing embers. OPENING: NOVEMBER 17TH
